Heterogeneity of multiple myeloma and insuffi ciency of current classifi cation systems and laboratory parameters do not facilitate defi nition of patients with high-risk outcome. The need of new prognostic tools lead to the range (in creation of plenty) of classification scheme describing variants of MM based on detection of genetics/cytogenetics markers by gene expression profi ling and cytogenetics.
