We show an example of the use classic CGH (comparative genomic hybridization) and HR-CGH (comparative genomic hybridization with higher resolution) in fi ve multiple myeloma patients. The aim of the experiments was to combine the results of FISH with the analysis of imbalanced chromosomal abnormalities by CGH. Our other aim was to compare the use of these methods to detect chromosomal changes in samples with different infi ltration by malignant plasma cells.
