Plasma cell leukemia is a rare disease defi ned by the presence of circulating malignant plasma cells in the peripheral blood. Three patients were diagnosed with plasma cell leukemia in our center from 2005 to 2007 . Here we report two cases of plasma cell leukemia to demonstrate the use of fl ow cytometry as an important tool in the diagnostic assessment of the disease.
