Summary: Vacuum biopsy is a relatively new diagnostic method intended for diagnosis in the mammary gland. It enables repetitive breast tissue sampling for efficient histological diagnosis.
Our paper deals with potential benefits of vacuum biopsy in applications outside of the breast. The device has been used for extraction of multiple tumor specimens for further processing and tests.
