Summary: Radiotherapy plays an important role in the treatment of early stage breast carcinoma. Radiotherapeutic approach is complicated and still changing. Treatment strategy, radiation methods and equipment are developing. The main purpose of radiotherapy is to decrease side effects and reach high local control. But there are still remaining some unsolved questions. The aim of our article is to point out some radiotherapeutic controversies of early stage breast carcinoma.
