Summary: Heteronuclear permanent cell line VUP 1 derived from the human malignant melanoma of the femal uvea was our object of the longitudinal cytogenetical study (FISH). Numerical and structural polymorfism of all chromosomes except structural once of 15 and 22 are discovered. Most changes was found in chromosomes 13,1 and 7. Development of the molecular-cytogenetical technics folows into the possibility to discover more and more numerical and structural polymorfism of the chromosomes in cancer cell lines.
