Summary: The quality of life is a subjective parameter describing the patients assessment of impact of the disease. This assessment is wholly individual, without close correlation to usual clinical parameters – for instance TNM classification or performance status in oncological patients. Specific processes are used for quality of life evaluation enabling objectivize this subjective parameter as well as compare obtained results. The evaluation of quality of life should become one of basic information concerning the health status of oncological patients.
