Summary: A new technique of radiotherapy of the breast is presented and compared with the two currently-used planning procedures. The aim was to develop a technique with better accuracy and with the same or even better reproducibility. We combine data from the CT machine, taken in the straight supine position with the contour obtained by means of the classical pantograph in treatment set-up. Our preliminary experience shows that this goal has been achieved. The necessary technical equipment did not exceed current norms. The planning procedure is only slightly more laborious man "classical" techniques.
