Summary: The article summarizes the treatment of Hodgkin's disease in Germany and in some other Central European countries according to protocols of the German Hodgkin's Disease Study Group led by prof. V. Diehl M.D. of the University of Cologne. These are third generation prospective randomised clinical trials concerning both primary treatment and treatment of relapsed Hodgkin's lymphoma.
The cooperation of this important group with other oncologic centers, especially with the EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer), is highlighted.
