Early detection of lung cancer is of essential importance for successful treatment of disease. One of the outstanding methods in diagnosis of central bronchogenic cancer is autofluorescence bronchoscopy. Its development takes nowadays two streams: Excitation light source by LIFE system is via laser light with a working wavelength of 442nm, by system PENTAX using a Xenon lamp and a working wavelength of 420-480nm.
