Abstract: The role of irradiation, the extent of the irradiated field as well as the irradiation techniques for patients after orchiectomy with stage I, IIA/IIB seminoma are discussed. A literary review of radiotherapeutic effectiveness in particular stages is presented. A recommendation for daily care of irradiated patients, including the management of side effects of radiotherapy, is given.
