Abstract: A review of etiology and epidemiology of testicular cancer is presented. The value of early detection, therapy and prevention of cancer (early treatment of cryptorchidism, testicular self-examination, the acceptance of external genital palpation as an obligatory part of complex physical examination 1) in males older than 15 years, 2) during primary care physician practice, 3) in all periodic health care examination and appropriate surgery in suspicious testicular cancer from the inguinal route) are emphasized.
