The therapy of non-Hodgkin´s lymphoma (NHL) depends on many factors, most important of which are histologic type and a stage of the disease. In the last 15 years the most important improvement in the treatment of high grade NHL has been achieved by aggressive chemotherapy and autologous bone marrow transplantation. Due to antimetabolities, the progress can be also found in the management of low grade NHL. The radiotherapy remaines traditionally effective but mostly additive therapy of NHL. Due to the employment of these procedures and the larger use of biological response modifiers and growth factors one can assume further improvement of therapeutic results.
