Klin Onkol 1991; 4(6): 171-180.
Summary: On the 1st orthopaedic clinic in Brno there were in the years 1984 - 1988 treated two groups of patients with malignant or semimalignant musculosceletal tumors (total 104 patients). In the first group the patients were treated according to the Enneking's schedule and in the second group the surgery was lesser. The treatment was fullfilled by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In the II A and II B groups the wid and radical resection did not show any difference in the count of recurrences. In the 1st group with the exception of giant cellular tumors the wide resection showed better results than the marginal one. The patients in the Illrd group were operated only palliati-vely. The comparison showed more specific and less often indications for extensive radical resections of the whole compartement in the musculosceletal tumors.
