The complete treatment of malignant tumours of the orofacial area

The clinical and epidemiological study evaluates the collection of 166 patients with malignant tumors of the orofacial region. These patients were treated in the III. stomatological clinic and the oncological clinic of the University Hospital Olomouc in the years 1980-1987. A criterion of a successful treatment was 5 years survival. The results have proved that the complex course of care, early treatment and less advanced stage of tumors yield a greater hope for survival.
