Summary:
The results of therapy of 302 patients of stage II. and III. carcinoma of the breast from 1976 to 1981 are analysed.
The curative radiotherapy in all the patients was prod-duced and chemotherapy and hormonotherapy according to the protocol was added.
Analysis of occurence of recurrence and metastases and survival in dependence onclinical charakteristcs of tumors is reported.
5-year (10-year) survival in stage II. was 54.9% (31.7%), in stage III. — 38.4% (23.9%). 5-year (10--year) disease free survival — 37.4% (26.8%) and 25.6% (11.0%) respectively. Collection was divided on 4 groups according to the occurence of the recurrences and metastases in analysed period. In each group follow up of disease is evaluated and relations to extent of disease and to therapy are discussed.
