Summary:
We determined the concentration of (α1-antitrypsin (AAT), α1acid glykoproitein (AAG) and prealbumin (PA) in serum of 50 patients with breast cancer. We could find a significant difference between groups of patients with progressive disease (n= 12) and non evidence of disease (n = 38) (p < 0,05 for AAG a p < 0,01 for AAT and PA). Applying the method of decision analysis — operating characteristic curves — we established index AAT/PA to be the most acceptable (validity is 87 %).
