Summary:
Authors engage in two basic modalities: preoperative radiation therapy and definitive radiotherapy for laryngeal carcinoma. Advantages and disadvantages of both methods are emphasized. There is shown an extraordinary radiation sensibility of some tumours. In the other hand, some tumours resist against radiation so that not even he dose of 40 Gy does not make changes in the tumour structure. In this complicated situation is necessary a team cooperation to reach a good treatment effect.
