The authors discussed their experiences about new possibilities in the diagnosis of papillomavirus infections of head and neck region. With cooperation of other institutes they are using new informations about HPV viruses from molecular biology, experimental virology to detect this infections. There are no conclusions until now on the level of clinical markers, but this situation could arise after introducing the serologic technics in the general practice.
