Summary: The method, which makes testing the statistical significance of regions with anomalous malignant tumours incidence in followed territory possible, is describes in this article. In this case the number of clusters of lokalities with anomalous malignant tumours incidence and number of lokalities in the largest cluster are tested by the assistance of special tests. The frequency functions for these tests are derived by using of the method "Monte Carlo". The method was modified by aplying of correction for the member of the neighbour localities. The statistical significance of the region with increased female malignant tumours incidence in the district Žiar nad Hronom has been verified.
