Summary: The experiences with ultrasound diagnostics in mammology are evaluated. The results of four consecutive stages of examination - four different devices with developing technical parameters were used - are presented. Possible aplication of ultrasound examination at the current stage of technical development and its ability in diagnostics of breast diseases are discussed.
