In the study concerning risk factors of the rise of mammary gland carcinoma we found that the women´s knowledge of malignant neoplasms occurrence in their family is sufficient only in the relatives of 1-st line. Women are informed about the occurrence of malignant neoplasms in more distatnt relatives only little, more over women with mammary gland carcinoma tell about the occurrence of malignant neoplasms in their family less reliably than healthy women in the control group. Statistically significant differences between both groups have been found in statements concerning malignant neoplasms in the family occuring in more distant relatives.
